Miltech Machine Corporation Terms & Conditions
General
As a supplier to Miltech Manufacturing (“Miltech”), you are a key contributor to the products and services delivered to our customers. We value conformance to specifications and requirements, contributions to product safety, and ethical business practices. By bidding on a Miltech RFQ, your organization agrees to meet the following AS9100 requirements whenever a purchase order specifies the order is for an aircraft product subject to AS9100.
Scope
These terms and conditions apply to all external suppliers and sub-tier suppliers that furnish products, processes, or services incorporated into Miltech’s contractually deliverable aircraft products.
- Suppliers must use Miltech customer-approved special process sources (anodize, heat treat, welding, etc.) when required by purchase order.
- Suppliers must contact Miltech when nonconforming product or material is discovered. Disposition must be approved by an authorized Miltech manager or designee.
- Suppliers must notify Miltech of any changes to products or processes—including changes in external providers or manufacturing locations—that may affect conformance. Approval from an authorized Miltech manager or designee is required before production. If a First Article Inspection (FAI) was previously required, a new FAI is required after such changes.
- Miltech, its customers, and regulatory authorities retain the right of access to supplier:
- Facilities involved in the aircraft product order.
- Records demonstrating product conformance. Records must be retained for four years from the
purchase order date.
- Suppliers must apply appropriate controls to their direct and sub-tier external providers to ensure product requirements are met. These controls may include customer, regulatory, or AS9100 specific requirements and will be listed on the purchase order.
- Miltech performs inspection activities to ensure purchased products meet requirements, including:
- Receiving inspection of products, services, and documents. Certificates of conformity, material certificates, and documentation are verified for authenticity and correctness. Miltech may also inspect or audit the supplier’s facility when necessary.
- Product inspections to verify dimensional and specification requirements. Special processes that cannot be verified by inspection require a certificate of conformity.
- Monitoring of product / service conformity and on-time delivery.
- When Miltech or its customer intends to perform verification at the supplier’s premises, verification arrangements and product release methods will be communicated via RFQ, purchase order, or other approved purchasing documents.
- To ensure identification and traceability, Miltech requires Material Certificates, Certificates of Conformity, or other supporting documents when appropriate. These requirements will be communicated via RFQ, purchase order, or other purchasing channels.
- All special processes must be performed by qualified and competent personnel.
- Suppliers must maintain policies and procedures to identify potential counterfeit parts. Suppliers must immediately notify Miltech if counterfeit parts are suspected or identified. If counterfeit parts are delivered, the supplier must replace them at its own expense and is liable for all associated removal and replacement costs.
- Miltech may impose specific actions when timely or effective corrective actions are not achieved. These actions may include withholding payment, removing the supplier from the Approved Supplier List, or pursuing legal action.
