Built on Precision. Driven by Trust.

Since 1997, Miltech Manufacturing has been producing high-tolerance, complex parts for industries where there’s no margin for error. From aerospace and defense to oil & gas and tactical gear, our reputation is built on one simple truth: your parts aren’t just another job, they’re our reputation.

Meet the man behind Miltech
When Sam took over Miltech, he wasn’t chasing growth—he just wanted to make parts the right way. What began as a small shop has turned into a trusted name in precision machining, built on hard work, problem-solving, and pride in every job that leaves the floor. In this interview, Sam talks about what’s changed, what hasn’t, and why doing things right still matters most.

OUR STORY

From Small Shop to Trusted Manufacturing Partner

Miltech began in 1997, when founder John Millnes turned a passion for precision into a business—starting out machining gears for outboard boat motors in Norton, Kansas. As the company grew, Miltech acquired MicroLine in 2007, expanding its capabilities and reputation for high-tolerance machining. In 2020, ownership passed to Sam Nicholson, who led Miltech into a new era of quality and innovation, earning AS9100 certification and setting the bar even higher. Now, under the guidance of the Dill brothers, Miltech continues to invest in advanced technology and skilled craftsmanship to meet the next generation of manufacturing challenges.
